LaSierra.co is a cacao journey inspired by the origin
Our approach is shaped by close relationships with the territories and communities we are part of, and by a constant interest in how cacao expresses itself through process and transformation.
From LaSierra.co we bring together the cacao forest and producers from La Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia, with cacao and chocolate buyers, knowledgeable chocolatiers, passionate beginners and all curious minds. We love engaging with projects applying innovation, imagination and creativity into cacao and chocolate.
Forest and producers
We work with Asociación Guardabosques de la Sierra, in the implementation of a Sustainable Production System™ around cacao, the forest, social capital, high quality beans and fine chocolate.
We integrate the ecosystems and research as part of our productive unit.
We count on an active community committed to look after the forests and river banks.
We keep our governance bodies active and accountable.
We are a farm, member associates of Guardabosques de la Sierra, Sierra Nevada, Colombia and certified cacao and chocolate tasters and evaluators by the International Institute of Cacao and Chocolate Tasting (IICCT).
We are always on the lookout for people interested in the in-farm cacao training experience.
